Forum and data protectionBack to the grapevine

Dear Friends

We are very glad to be able to let everyone know that we are heading to Northern Ireland for the 2018 Walled Kitchen Gardens Forum. Our destination is Mount Stewart (according to The National Trust it was voted one of the world’s top ten gardens) and we’re delighted that Head Gardener, Neil Porteous will be our main speaker. We will hold the conference at Clandeboye Estate, which is close to Mount Stewart.  Mount Stewart does not have large enough conference facilities whereas Clandeboye can easily accommodate us.

Clandeboye is home to the Marchioness of Dufferin and Ava, and will be our venue on Saturday 13th to hear our speakers. The wonderful landscapes of this Estate were settled in 1674. It is one of the few great, private estates of Northern Ireland that still remain in the ownership of the original family.

We will confirm the other speakers, gardens and transport for Sunday the 14th in due course, but if you would like to book your place for the Forum please use the attached booking form. The format will remain the same as recent years.

Please get in touch if you have questions at this stage. We’ll look forward to hearing from you, and hope to see you in Ireland in October.

Our best wishes
Lucy, Susan and Mike

It seems that BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time will beat us to it. Their annual Summer Garden Party will be held at Mount Stewart on Saturday 9th June, and Neil Porteous will be their main speaker.

Hi Rob, well that’s good because Neil will have had lots of practice by the time October rolls around.
Please check that your are registered on The Grapevine post GDPR deadline. We have also brought in an anti-robot feature. Most of the spam is filtered out but some does creep in unfortunately
Cheers
Mike
